Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management Company, Limited (hereinafter, "we", "us," or "our") has positioned the protection of individual numbers and personal information that has an individual number included in its content (hereinafter, "Specific Personal Information"; with individual numbers and Specific Personal Information hereinafter collectively referred to as "Specific Personal Information, etc.") of our customers, business partners, employees, etc. as an important matter, and we have established the following basic policy, which we will endeavor to make known to all our employees, etc. and ensure compliance therewith, to ensure our stricter management of Specific Personal Information, etc. based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (hereinafter, "the Act on the Use of Numbers") as an organization.

- Preparation of payment records for remuneration, fees, etc. related to business partners, etc., preparation of payment records for real estate usage fees, etc., and preparation of payment records for consideration for the acquisition of real estate, etc.
- Affairs related to tax withholding from employees, etc., affairs related to social insurance, and affairs related to labor insurance; and
- Affairs incidental to (1) to (3) above.

We will take necessary and appropriate security control measures for the management of Specific Personal Information, etc., including prevention of leakage, loss, or damage. In addition, we will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over employees and contractors (including subcontractors, etc.) who handle Specific Personal Information, etc.
